Amiti Uttarwar is a Bitcoin Core contributor who has made several protocol improvements on the peer-to-peer layer to improve security and privacy. She is passionate about Bitcoin’s potential to redefine our societal ideas of wealth due to its global and inclusive nature. Named one of Forbes 30 under 30, Amiti also promotes psycho-social support for open source developers. Her other interests include off-trail backpacking, ice climbing, yoga and meditation.
